I grew up on a row crop and cow/calf farm in northeast Nebraska, and established my own purebred cow herd at a very young age, all of which were homeraised, and registered purebred Simmental. Unfortunately had to sell out a couple years ago, and miss them every day. Cattle are my biggest passion, and all other areas of agriculture have been and always be in my blood. I was born and raised a Cornhusker (I still bleed red even when they aren't playing so well), made my way to the extreme northwest panhandle of NE for a few years, and now loving life here in beautiful northwest Wyoming!

Some things I enjoy: country dancing (jitterbug/swing, 2-step, triple step, or slow, I love it all!), riding horses, older country music, county and state fairs. Cooking and baking, trying/making up new recipes. Camping and fishing, I could sleep under the stars every night if possible! Traveling when I have a chance, road trips and going to cattle events. Photography is probably my favorite hobby, and have also discovered a new found love for snowshoeing! What better place to do most of these things, than the mountains of Wyoming outside my back door?!

June 2017 I took a huge leap into something completely out of my comfort zone, and joined a local CrossFit gym. It has been the best decision I've made in a long time, and for many reasons! It has become a new "normal" in my life, and I have gained new friends and a new definition of "family" as we all encourage and support and push each other to do our personal best each and every day.

I can be a bit stubborn at times, but doesn't take much to make me melt. I appreciate the little things in life. My passion for ag is undeniable, and I love taking opportunities to teach people about my lifestyle, especially kids!
